KIEN WONG PROFILE

GoogooChina's founder Kien Wong has started his sourcing activities & trading business since 1989. At first, he was importing home decorative items & artificial flower from China for his wholesale business in Malaysia. But importing from China at that time is not as easy as he thought. There are many problems such as poor quality, miscommunication, transportation problem & delayed delivery. To overcome all this problem, he has build up a good relationship with supplier and develops a very efficient procurement solution.

== Furniture Trading ==

In 1992, he expanse his business and started Carster World, a home furnishing & decorative retail shop where he began to design, sourcing, manufacture,  and import from international exhibition, China factory and wholesale market. Besides selling his products locally, he also exhibited his products in international furniture show and export them to others countries. In 1999, when his business has established and grows into franchise outlet, he was approached by a The MINES Group (a public listed company, Malaysia). Later, he sold off half of his share to the Mines group and he has been appointed as acting managing director for 3 year to oversee 200,000 SQFT showroom (THE FURNITURE CITY OF ASIA-FCA). Over the years, he has won 6 awards on best display & furniture design category in The MAFEX Furniture Show in Malaysia.
